• any mobile or web application we develop, own, or operate that links to this Privacy Policy, whether distributed through the Apple App Store, the Google Play Store, or otherwise (each, an “App,” and collectively, the “Apps”).

The Website and the Apps are referred to together in this Policy as the “Services.” This is a single, unified Privacy Policy intended to apply consistently across all current and future Apps published under the Jaspar Technologies developer accounts, unless a specific App provides its own supplementary policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, password/authentication credentials.
• Content you submit: depending on the App, this may include documents, images, notes, financial records, health-related records, messages, reviews, or other content you choose to upload or enter.
• Communications: information you provide when you contact us for support, feedback, or inquiries.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device and technical data: device model, operating system and version, app version, unique device or installation identifiers, crash logs and diagnostics.
• Usage data: how you interact with the Services, features used, and session information.
• Network data: connectivity/network status, used to determine online/offline behavior and sync.
• Website data (cookies): if you visit jaspartech.com, we may use cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 7.

1.3 Sensitive Information (Where Applicable to a Specific App)

Certain Apps may, based on their specific purpose, collect more sensitive categories of information, such as:

• Health information (e.g., an App used to store medical records or prescriptions)
• Financial information (e.g., an App used to track loans, EMIs, or budgets)
• Photos or media you choose to attach or upload

Where an App collects any of the above, this is always disclosed in that App’s store listing (Data Safety / App Privacy details) and, where required, accompanied by an in-app consent or permission prompt before collection.

1.4 Biometric Authentication

Some Apps may allow you to unlock the App using your device’s fingerprint or face recognition. This authentication is processed entirely by your device’s operating system. We do not collect, receive, transmit, or store your biometric data (fingerprint patterns, facial scans) — we only receive a simple pass/fail signal from the device operating system.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Services
• To create and manage your account
• To sync and store your content/data so you can access it across sessions
• To secure the Services, including via device-level biometric or PIN-based locks
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse
• To analyze usage in order to improve features, performance, and reliability
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use health or financial data you store in an App for advertising purposes.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: vendors who provide hosting, cloud storage, infrastructure, analytics, or customer support on our behalf, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal compliance: where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
• With your direction or consent: for example, if you use an in-app “share” feature to send content to another app or person.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality commitments consistent with this Policy.
• To protect rights and safety: to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jaspar Technologies, our users, or the public.

4. Data Storage, Security, and International Transfers

Jaspar Technologies is based in the United States, and our Apps are used primarily by individuals in India and other countries. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, India, or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data protection laws different from those in your country of residence.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted network transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted or access-controlled storage for sensitive local values, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account (see Section 6), we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information for legitimate purposes such as security, fraud prevention, tax, or regulatory compliance.

6. Account and Data Deletion

If an App allows you to create an account, you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by:

• Using the in-app “Delete Account” option, typically found in Settings/Profile (where available in a given App); or
• Emailing us at info@jaspartech.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request,” including the App name and the email/account associated with your request.

We will complete deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days), except for data we are legally required or permitted to retain (e.g., for fraud prevention, security, or compliance with applicable law), which we will inform you of upon request.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies (Website)

Our Website may use cookies and similar technologies to:

• Remember your preferences and login state
• Understand aggregate usage of the Website (analytics)
• Assist with spam/security detection on forms and comments

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; note that some Website features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

8. Your Rights and Choices

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a specific App is intended for a different age group, that App’s store listing and in-app disclosures will state so, along with any additional safeguards. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites, services, or SDKs (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, or payment processors, where applicable to a specific App). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.

11. App Store–Specific Disclosures

In addition to this Policy:

• Google Play: each App’s Data Safety section in the Play Store listing discloses the specific categories of data collected, how they are used, and whether they are shared with third parties, consistent with this Policy.
• Apple App Store: each App’s App Privacy (“Nutrition Label”) details in App Store Connect disclose data types collected and whether they are linked to your identity or used for tracking, consistent with this Policy.

12. App-Specific Disclosures: MedVault

This section provides additional detail specific to the MedVault app, supplementing the general Policy above.

Health data we collect in MedVault
MedVault is used to store personal health records, which may include: prescriptions, lab and blood reports, medical scans, medication lists and reminders, symptom logs, and vaccination records.

How AI is used in MedVault

• When you upload a prescription or report image, the image and/or extracted text may be sent to Google Gemini to perform text extraction (OCR) and generate a summary of the document for you.
• When you look up medication information, MedVault queries OpenFDA, a public U.S. government drug database, to retrieve drug information. No personal or health data is sent to OpenFDA — only the medication name or identifier being searched.

Service providers used by MedVault
To operate MedVault, we work with the following processors, each bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations:

• Google (Gemini API) — document text extraction and summarization
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — secure storage of uploaded documents and images
• Postmark — transactional email (e.g., account verification, password reset)
• Sentry — crash and error monitoring to help us fix bugs

We do not share your MedVault data with advertisers, and we do not sell your data to any third party.

Retention and deletion
Your MedVault data is retained until you delete your account. Deleted data is hard-deleted from our database immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days. See Delete Your Account & Data for instructions.

Consent
You can review and manage what MedVault is permitted to do with your data at any time via Profile → Consent & privacy inside the app.

Exporting your data
To request an export of your MedVault records, email info@jaspartech.com.

Security
Documents stored in MedVault are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access-controlled at rest in our cloud storage. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Minors and guardians
MedVault accounts are intended for individuals 18 or older. A parent or legal guardian may store a minor’s health records on their behalf, and is responsible for ensuring they have the right to do so.12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Services, or legal requirements. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when changes are made, and where changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as an in-app notice or email) where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
